Focus Tool Kit©: A Hands-On Resource for Attentional Wellness
The Focus Tool Kit© is a practical resource designed for teachers, using the principles of mindfulness and kindness to cultivate attentional wellness in students. Developed with the goal of enhancing students’ awareness of their own attention levels, this toolkit helps students identify when they are fully attentive, when their mind begins to wander, and how to gently bring their focus back for effective learning. It encourages students to engage with their attention in a kind and mindful way.
Through a fun, three-step structured process, the toolkit enables teachers to foster an attentive, present-centered, and non-reactive mindset in their students, supporting a learning environment where students can learn, unlearn, and relearn.
